Annoyances

Political things that REALLY tick me off/annoy me:

First of all: Political Ads

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Most important election of our time, Blah Blah blahbitty bloo blah. Just because its important doesn't mean that the idiots that write the ads should make it seem so dreary, and negative. How about a POSITIVE ad every now and then? However, I don't know about politics as much as the next guy does. But, I'm wondering why people aren't commiting suicide from all this negativity!

Secondly: Teachers at my school

Okay, just because your all adults doesn't give you the right to openly give your political views to a captive audience. I am not kidding when I say that during my school day I hear so many smacks given to both candidates(Mainly McCain), that I just want to scream! I'm not old enough to vote! So keep your dang views to yourself! (Oh, and, if by any chance you are reading this Bill O'reilly, you are my hero, no matter what some people say! You too Rush Limbaugh!)

Next: Lies

Okay, this whole Acorn nonsense needs to cease. Countless False Voter cards discovered, all democrats, in swing states. This is rediculous! How can people get away with such a scandalous act! It blows my mind what some idiots will do sometimes.

Two more: threats

Riots and fights have threatened to break out in our area if Obama loses. I want to ask someone: How is that gonna help anything? Your all acting like overgrown kindergarteners, throwing a temper-tantrum! Will it change anything? Will you feel better in jail? Do you think this is right, charging in, breaking into houses, burning things down, and possible murder? Think about it, will you?

Last one: The image of Sarah Palin Hanging, and John McCain burning in the chimney

Okay, you liberals, let me get this straight:
You make a manakin of Sarah Palin,
you clothe it, give it hair, and make it look like her,
then hang it?

Then you make a manakin of John McCain and put that in the chimney, making it look burned?! First and foremost, John McCain deserves respect. An ex-veteran, tortured who knows how many times, arms broken, and spirit crushed, and you do that to him? HE FOUGHT FOR YOUR MEASLY LIVES! And you repay him like that? And hanging Sarah Palin? She is doing her best, people. If I hung an image of Barack Obama, My house would get burned down! But no, hanging Sarah Palin is okay, huh? No, its not. Its a terrible act of hate. And, hate crimes are against the law.

I hope you read this thoroughly, reader.
Have a God-Blessed day.

*Sighs* While I agree, that is a amazing post, I have a problem.

You are telling other Americans off. Even if they are wrong, they are citizens of this country same as we are!
Believe me, I'm a firm believer in freedom of speech but... it's like dividing a family on one argument. I find it upsetting what happened, but I find it upsetting that you would stoop to their level of immature fighting. Why break this Country more than it is?

Of course, one the Prez is elected, poof. Problem solved. One party will be upset, but all this war against our neighbors will at least come to a stop.

I believe in voicing your opinions. But to be cruel and speak against your fellow citizens is harsh. No one has to get along perfectly, but to wish them to die is just... cold.

Am I sounding libral? I'm not trying to. I'm not saying we shouldn't be free to say what we want. Just... a little less... violent.

The world is coming to an end. I'm voting against violence. Amazing!

OFFENDED ME?!?!? PUH-LEASE!

Your reply doesn't hit my real problem though. We are people of the nation! It just feels like if you get down and rip out every problem you have, you are dividing a broken and already divided country.

Forget diversity! Forget color! Forget parties!

Celebrate unity.

The country is nothing without the people in it. I HATE election day, I HATE the negativity, I HATE all the lies...

But I hate it because it puts so many dividers in the country. Do you know how hard it was to talk to my friends who were black? Because I didn't want to offend or argue or upset them?

I love to argue, but I will not go into politics because of the problems it makes me have with my friends!

I understand your view, try to understand mine.
